Apologies for the unusual absence! It’s been quite busy for me, whether from work or upkeep with my usual routines, or extra meetings. Or even starting new projects! Sitting down on a quiet evening to write a pen review was either not available or on the highest of priorities. Unfortunately. I have not abandoned ye hobby though, not to worry. I have plans for the next review, but will get to it when I get to it. Hopefully within the month for my bloggiversary! Almost a year now since I started my pilot.

In the meantime, some long overdue glamour shots of the LE Baron Fig Lock & Key set that I purchased on day 2 of it’s release. The pen has since been sold out, but the notebook is still available!

No full review for this set, though I will note that the brass version of the squire is indeed heavier and snazzier, being all gold in colour. It looks awesome. And the idea and design of the combo is really remarkable. To catch my thoughts on the combo, check out my Spectrecle post. The collector in me has kept these two items in the drawer in mint condition, but who knows. I have already determined they are both great products, so maybe one day I will whip them out.

Sorry for the short post and lack of photos. Thank you for sticking around! I’ll be back as soon as I can with some more doodles and reviews. At the very least, my instagram is updated on a weekly basis with doodles through my passion planning project, and I almost always use a fountain pen for that 🙂 (see right for the feed).

Cheerio :O

  1. I do like the look of these pens, but they’re just a bit too small for me; I wish BF would produce something a few centimeters longer… and with a roll-stop would help. But then I suppose, it just wouldn’t be the same would it? Still, I like looking at the BF’s in your photo’s, Thanks!
