Just two days ago I impulsively purchased another two (or three? I can’t even remember) bottles of ink. So in anticipation of those arriving in the mail, I have spent my Sunday afternoon documenting and testing out all my existing collection of inks. It is a modest collection, in an ink connoisseurs’ perspective, but it’s still a lot more than I thought I had. The overall range is rather on the dark side, me loving a good dark ink variation to write notes and draw with.
The only two missing here from my collection is the Perle Noir black from J.Herbin — I am not sure why I omitted this one but I will add it once I get my new inks – and Noodle’s Blue upon the Plains of Abraham — which swatched out terribly on my watercolour paper for some reason and I don’t want it to see the light of day. It is a lovely ink though and excellently bulletproof, which I really appreciate in an ink because I like to watercolour over my drawings.
The next review is on its way but slowly. Thanks for staying tuned!
That’s a very restrained/selctive ink collection you have there!

haha…xD thanks. I try my best to have self control. Not always consistent as you may relate 🙂

You are clearly more successful than me. 😀. I have more than enough ink to last me a lifetime, but it doesn’t stop me buying more!
